MCAS Review

PARENTS

I AM VERY EXCITED TO START THE NEW ACADEMIC YEAR -- MY 13TH YEAR HERE AT ORR! I AM FORTUNATE TO WORK IN SUCH A WONDERFUL DISTRICT, AND I LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING A NEW GROUP OF STUDENTS!. I AM AVAILABLE TO WORK WITH YOU AS WELL SHOULD YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS. THE BEST WAY TO REACH ME IS THROUGH E-MAIL, WHICH I CHECK ON WEEKDAYS DURING SCHOOL HOURS (KBRUNEL@ORR.MEC.EDU)

I AM A FIRM BELIEVER THAT STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR SUCCESS; THEREFORE, IF STUDENTS SKIP ASSIGNMENTS, I WILL HOLD THEM RESPONSIBLE. I WILL ALSO CONTACT YOU SO THAT WE CAN FIGURE OUT A SOLUTION TOGETHER.

I TRULY ENJOY TEACHING, AND I AM VERY EXCITED TO START THE YEAR!

College Recommendations

I am happy to write college recommendations. I receive many requests, so I use a specific system of which the students are aware. Students who wish for a recommendation need to give me the guidance form the spring before their Senior year. Otherwise, I am not able to meet fall deadlines, as I usually write 50+ recommendations. Therefore, I do not write recommendations for any seniors asking during their senior year, unless I am working with that senior for the first time in theater class. I do not write recommendations for students who are disrespectful.. If your child does his/her best, no matter the grade, I will be more than pleased to write the recommendation.
